Worked at the USSR State Committee on Television and Radio. Editor of the radio programs of International Moscow Radio broadcast to Great Britain and Ireland. Director General of the Astra Association of the Ostankino TV center (world service in Russian and English). Head of International Moscow Radio. Chairman of the Voice of Russia Russian state radio company.

Since 2009, Editor-in-Chief of the International Affairs journal — freelance counselor to the Russian Federation Minister of Foreign Affairs.

At various periods in his career, member of the Aadministrative Council of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU, Geneva), member of the EBU radio committee. Expert on mass media of the Council of Europe.

Member of the Russian Union of Writers. Laureate of the "Distinguished Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation" award.

Member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy. Member of the International Informatization Academy (UN member organization with general consultative status). Member of the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. Member of the National Association of Television and Radio Broadcasters Radio Academy. Corresponding member of the International Academy of Management.

Author of several documentaries on history and history of culture. Author of the multi-media project “All Russia. Encyclopedia from A to Z”.

Author of publications in Russian and foreign press on foreign policy and mass media.
